Nintendo has introduced a collectible pin set commemorating the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda, offering the two-piece reward on the US Nintendo Store for 800 My Nintendo Platinum Points. Arriving alongside the launch of the Ocarina of Time remake on Nintendo Switch 2, the physical set requires customers to pay for shipping in addition to the points redemption.

The package includes a pair of pins housed inside a six-by-four-inch display box. One pin highlights the official 40th anniversary emblem for the series, measuring two inches by 1.5 inches, while the second piece reproduces the Ocarina of Time remake logo at 1.25 inches by two inches. Orders are capped at one set per account, with Nintendo providing neither an expiration date for the offer nor specific inventory numbers.

Unlike standard store purchases, Platinum Points cannot be bought with money or moved between accounts. Members accumulate them by finishing objectives across smart device apps, the My Nintendo portal, or through Nintendo Switch Online tasks on Switch and Switch 2 hardware. Earned points expire at the end of the month six months after they are collected.

Nintendo also released several digital bonuses to mark the occasion, adding seven songs from the remake’s score to its Nintendo Music streaming service for Switch Online members alongside new user icons. The commemorative merchandise follows the franchise’s milestone anniversary year dating back to its February 1986 debut on Japan’s Famicom Disk System, joining an anniversary edition Switch 2 console, the November 5 release of the Ocarina of Time remake, and an upcoming concert tour slated for 2027.
