Singapore-based independent developer Trueworld Studios has launched its fast-paced first-person movement shooter and platformer, Alteredblood+, into Steam Early Access for Windows PC. The title carries a standard price of $9.99, temporarily reduced to $8.49 via an introductory 15 percent discount running through November 11.

The initial Version 0.1 build occupies 3 GB of storage and includes the opening story chapter, which spans three episodes and six missions accessed through a central hub. Combat and traversal center on fluid movement and blood mechanics, incorporating bunny hopping, surfing, air strafing, trimping, and rocket jumping. Defeating foes coats the environment in blood, which players can slide, dash, or stomp across to replenish ammo and health. Standing directly in blood activates an altered state that enhances speed, jump height, and weapon power.

Players take on the role of a Reaper fighting inside Mother, a universe-consuming megastructure. The current release equips players with four weapons and a knife to tackle six enemy variants, their Altered counterparts, and one boss encounter. Outside the main campaign, the build features a wave-based survival mode named Gravekeeper across three arenas, alongside friends and global leaderboards. A standalone demo featuring the first two missions is also available to download.

Trueworld Studios plans to keep Alteredblood+ in early access until late 2027, with the retail price expected to rise as larger content updates, extra chapters, and new weapons are added. Built on DirectX 11 with support for DualShock and DualSense gamepads, the shooter requires at least an Intel Core i5-6500, 8 GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 to hit frame rates between 60 and 120 frames per second.
